16th Young Economists' Convention
July 14-15, 2017

Over 150 students from several universities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao participated in the two-day convention held at the 4th floor Multipurpose Hall at the Henry Sy, Sr.
Hall last July 14 and 15, 2017. The event was also graced by distinguished speakers namely Dr. Ronald Mendoza, dean of the Ateneo School of Government, Commissioner Stella Quimbo from the Philippine Competition Commission, Mr. Dylan Wilk, the founder of Human Nature, and several other well-established experts from the public sector, the private sector, and the academe. In addition, there were 3 competitors for the Outstanding Research Paper competition and 2 competitors for the Policy Making Competition, all of whom were judged and graded by external judges from various academic and research institutions.
