The CBMS session (TED talk - TA2-5.01) for the UN World Data Forum features presentations and discussion on how the adoption of the CBMS can address crucial data gaps and requirements for design of appropriate policies and interventions, more focused targeting, and impact monitoring in the context of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) agenda and implications of the global Covid pandemic.
Aside from the CBMS session on October 20, 2020, the CBMS Network will also be showcasing the implementation of CBMS in different countries and the various applications of CBMS relating to local governance, planning and budgeting, poverty mapping, multidimensional poverty analysis, and localizing the SDGs among others through a virtual exhibit as part of the 3 day UNWDF event from October 19-21.
