Addressing context-specific barriers to female labor force participation in decent work in the Philippines

This study primarily aims to identify the measures that will be most effective in overcoming barriers to women’s access to “decent work” in different socio-economic contexts using gender-sensitive policy approaches in six countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The countries included—Sri Lanka and the Philippines, Senegal and Kenya, Brazil and Peru—are characterized by different economic structures and gender characteristics of their labor markets.
