Design and conduct of the training on economic principles

Funding Agency: Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
Duration: October 2017 to December 2017
To improve the skills and competence of the Bureau of Trade and Industrial Policy Research (BTIPR) officers and staff in the formulation of industrial policies and strategies that will promote industry development.
Key tasks shall include the following:
a) Conduct diagnostic exams to determine the competency and specific needs of the participants;
b) Develop a training design and training modules that consider the competency and training needs of the participants;
c) Develop a training manual containing learning materials for distribution to participants;
d) Conduct the training/workshops for 25 participants of the BTIPR and selected staff of other DTI bureaus and offices;
e) Prepare and submit a final report, to include analysis of the conduct of the pre- and post-assessments, recommendations for the next level program, and documentation of the activities conducted.
