Driving inclusion through Empowerment and Decent Work: The case of Filipino women in online work

This study looks into the current and future states of digital platform work in the countryside as engendered by various Philippine laws, policies, and programs. It evaluates existing programs catering to the development of human resources, the structure and content of knowledge transfer, and the effectiveness of said programs in delivering the goals of digitalized economy, particularly in the countryside through the insights and lived experiences of workers, policymakers, and subject matter experts/resource persons to identify achievements and gaps. Furthermore, using a gender lens, the study explores central issues on bridging the gap in bridging gender inequalities in the labor market in an emerging digitalized economy.
