About the author​
Angelo Taningco was an Assistant Professor at the Economics Department of De La Salle University (DLSU) for 13 years. He served as consultant to various organizations, including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), ASEAN Secretariat, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), and Nomura Research Institute, among others. He has a masteral degree in economics and bachelors degree in development studies, both from DLSU, and did doctoral work in economics at Ateneo de Manila University.
