Objectives
Under a Cooperative Agreement with USAID-Philippines, the De La Salle University (DLSU) Consortium implements the "Partnership and Advocacy for Competitiveness and Trade (PACT)" Project. The project aims to achieve the following objectives:
- To improve the regulatory environment towards greater competitiveness in the domestic economy;
- To improve public sector governance to create an environment that will attract investments into the country and to improve the delivery of public services;
- To develop the capability of institutions and sectors to manage the challenges of an open and liberalized economy within a democratic setting; and
- To strengthen the capability of the partner institutions to provide timely technical and advocacy support to groups that advocate policy reforms consistent with project's framework.
