Philippine Alternative Learning System Survey

To conduct a field survey in National Capital Region and its surrounding provinces (called NCR-plus, hereinafter) to collect information on: (i) ALS learners’ background and status after they complete the program and (ii) ALS providers’ background. The survey includes tracking of former learners who were enrolled in the program in 2010 and 2011.
The proposed field survey in NCR-plus is the first step of the evaluation program. It is also planned to conduct a similar field survey in another region (to be determined) to compare rural and metropolitan regions in the country. Therefore, it is also expected that what will be generated from the NCR+ survey is incorporated into the second survey.
