Young Economists' Policy Initiative (YEPI) - REGISTRATION EXTENDED

REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO APRIL 22!

The DLSU Angelo King Institute, School of Economics
and
Economics Organization - 19th Young Economists' Convention

cordially invite the student community
to the

Young Economist's Policy Initiative (YEPI) - Policy Writing Competition

with the theme

"Industry 4.0 and the Future of Work:
Empowering Labor in the Post-Pandemic World"
The COVID-19 pandemic is catalyzing digitization and automation. However, this phenomenon — along with the COVID-induced recession — could lead to prolonged job displacements, or worsen inequalities when the gains of digital transformation are made inaccessible to underprivileged sectors of society. The challenge for policymakers is to find a way for Industry 4.0 to create a better future of work in a post-pandemic world, taking note of the lessons learned during the COVID-19 crisis.

Be a part of this year’s YEPI Competition and win up to ₱15,000 and an opportunity to have your policy paper published in the DLSU AKI Policy Brief Publications!

For more information, mechanics and other details are available in our primer: bit.ly/YEPIPrimer

Hurry! Registrations are only open until April 22, 2021 (Thursday) at: bit.ly/YEPIRegistration

Stay updated on our future announcements and events through the YEC Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/theYECdlsu/

*This policy writing competition is open to ALL non-DLSU & DLSU SHS and college students.
