AKI RESEARCH GRANTS
One of the major programs of the Institute is the AKI Research Grants. Every year, the Institute provides grants for research projects of DLSU faculty members that are aligned with the research thrusts identified by the Institute and the School of Economics.
The Institute continues to fund empirically-based research proposals on the following School of Economics research thrusts topics: Macroeconomic Theory and Macroeconomic Modeling, Experimental Economics, Poverty and Food Security, Globalization, International Trade, and Human Resource Development. Grants are also given for Poverty Research that utilizes the Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Survey datasets and/or the Annual Poverty Indicator Survey (APIS).
These proposals must be implemented over a six-month timeframe. The output must include the full research paper as well as a three- to four-page policy paper, which published by the Institute as an AKI Policy Brief with ISSN 2094-3342. Click here to find out more about AKI Call for Proposals.
